The 4 Hour orangutan trekking is a great insight into the jungle if you do not have much time, are not physically fit to endure longer treks or for families with children. You will have the chance to see many different kinds of exotic insects, animals and plants on this trek and of course, not forgetting the incredible orangutan.
*If you would prefer to go by yourself into the jungle with a guide, private tours are available. The price will be a minimum of 2 people*

PLAN OF THE DAY
Your Jungle Trek Adventure:
Your trek begins around 9:00 AM, right after you’ve enjoyed breakfast. Your experienced guide will meet you at your guesthouse and lead you into the heart of the jungle for an unforgettable 4-hour adventure.
Starting along the scenic Bahorok River, you’ll gradually enter the lush green rainforest, passing a rubber plantation along the way. As you take in the stunning surroundings, your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the various trees, insects, and wildlife you encounter and not forgetting the wonderful orangutan.
Midway through the trek, you’ll take a well-deserved break to enjoy fresh, locally sourced fruits. During this relaxing pause, you’ll have the chance to sit “orangutan-style” and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful sounds and sights of the rainforest.
As the trek continues, you’ll encounter even more wildlife and head towards the riverbank, where your jungle “taxi” awaits. The river rafting experience will bring you back to Bukit Lawang around 1:00 PM, capping off your incredible journey into the wild.
